Tell Me What Are You Looking For?
Pain is an interesting sensation, it is uncomfortable and irritating yet we live with it daily. Our brain can actually ignore what we are feeling as an adaptation to daily life and living through it. It is only when we stop, take pause and connect with our body that we do realize what state of pain we are currently in. Usually this happens about the time we lay down in bed and try to rejuvinate for the next day. Sleep seems near impossible when that shoulder, low back, or neck is screaming at us, we toss and turn to try and get comfortable yet to no avail. This disrups our sleep patterns incredibly so that we wake up the next morning feeling as if no time has gone by and we are still exhausted. Sound familiar? Yes, it is far too common. We have busy lives, busy schedules; work, school, social activites, obligations etc. but we must remember to leave some space for ourselves. There is no excuse for not taking care of you, and you must take the responsibility and act. The myth is that it will take forever and cost a fortune:
Pre-emptive care can reduce health costs in the future by catching posture inaccuracies, musculo-skeletal problems and decreasing stress which improve life expectancy and quality. Healthy Vitamin and Herbal substances can help elevate us above our toxic eating and drinking habits. It is us to us as body owners to take care of our vessels, do not be afraid of what is within because knowing more will give you greater power.
Spiritually we can suffer the effects of: energy vampirism, negativity, toxic work environment, abusive family or friends, even a draining partnership can all effect how energy levels fluctuate. The world is a tough realm to live in and most of us aren’t even attuned to paying attention to negative thought patterns, how our mental energy is spent or draining our reserves for will and action throughout the day. Not just a physical illness but mental and spiritual unwellness can prevent us from living fuller happier lives. Gut health and our environment highly effect our day-to-day wellbeing, so knowing our cycles, patterns and limitations can help us break away from personal blocks.

Licenced Massage Practitioner
Skilled in Trigger-point therapy
****Studying for a Masters in LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Counselor) ETA 2023.****
Trained for a year in an Occupational Teaching facility
I received my training from the massage program at Lake Washington Technical Institute in 2011-2012 and worked at a teaching clinic of therapy for over a year practicing and understanding new and different techniques. I have learned Trigger-point, PNT (peripheral nerve technique), and finessed my cross-fiber strokes. Also, I’ve taken a Kinesiotaping course, as well as had about 20+ hours of classes with a certified occupational therapist. I’ve also branched out into Chiropractic massage, and I have completed Levels 1&2 Reiki certification with Northwest Healing Studios.
After graduating from Western in 2010 with my BS in Kinesiology and an emphasis on Pre-Physical Therapy, I started working as an aide at a physical therapy clinic. I was trying to find a direction I wanted to take my understanding and knowledge, there I met a very skilled LMP and started looking into massage. Soon after starting classes I quickly learned that I really loved to do bodywork and that I was very talented at it as well; I have been told that I have a very healing approach to my work and that my presence is very professional and comfortable. I have been in practice for 10 years and experienced a vast majority of people across my path to treat and heal, I always approach my sessions with zero judgement and understanding that everyone experiences life in a different way. Currently I am in the process of receiving my Masters in Marriage and Family Counseling from North Central University.
Treatment massage has always been my aim, my ultimate goal is to incorporate knowledge from various complementary fields and use that to strengthen my practice as holistically as possible. Every day I learn something new, and I never stop trying to expand my understanding of the human condition.
