Our digestion system is powerful, what we eat powers the energy levels. Coffee is tasty but it can damage our intensities. Junk food, hard liquor, hard meats and cheeses can accumulate in our digestive system. Hormones such as cortisol, adrenaline and norepinephrine disrupt the natural flow of vitamins, minerals and blood cells from properly circulating in our bloodstream; instead it triggers storage and accumulation of body mass to protect us. This reduces absorption and can attribute to bloating. There are many new products out on the market that include specific mushrooms or roots and I couldn’t be more excited. Scents and flavors are appealing to the superficial part of food or beverages, yet the real healing come with nutrients that promote anti-inflammation, anti-microbial and anti-oxidant. I have been studying biomechanics and physiology of the body for several years after graduating with a BS in Kinesiology from Western Washington University, in many medical and clinical settings. Most of my clients would complain of secondary symptoms with their injuries that extended out from the musculoskeletal or neurological systems. Because of the cellular level of issues, a logical next step is to analyze internal systems like the digestive and circulatory system that reaches the entire body.
